For an abandoned child in India, a basic education is the single, most-critical factor between the perpetuating an impoverished life cycle or attaining a better life that which was offered by their circumstances.
The Children of India program partners with on-going, local operators to focus on groups of neglected children who need continuous support to ensure the continuity of their food, housing and education in order to escape the environment in which they were left to fend for themselves.
Brazil is a magnificent country with a beautiful language, exquisite cuisine and genuinely caring people.
The cities, however, are dangerous and relatively expensive places to live. And outside of the large cities, the job market is weak.
Altruity's Daughters of Brazil program (aka Altruismo) provides structured, temporary relief so that young ladies are able to finish their basic education, become regularized with government documentation and obtain dignified, gainful employment so that they can live mentally and physically healthy, independent lives.
Local individuals and families often know people who want to help but are simply unable.
Through the Local Loved Ones program, anyone can serve as an advocate for a loved one who requires temporary help with specific needs, which will produce tangible and measurable results in their life.
Together with the advocate, Altruity.org will then facilitate the sponsorship and materialization of fulfilling that need.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
